What CheckSiteADA is
CheckSiteADA is a web accessibility scanning tool. It scans publicly accessible web pages, runs automated checks against WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria, and uses AI to identify additional contextual issues. It produces a report with a compliance score, a list of issues found, and suggested fixes.
What CheckSiteADA is not
CheckSiteADA is a technical assessment tool. It is not legal advice, a legal certification, or a guarantee of ADA compliance. Automated tools, including ours, catch a subset of accessibility issues. A complete evaluation requires manual testing by people who use assistive technology.
A passing score does not mean your website is legally compliant. A failing score does not mean you will face legal action. We strongly recommend pairing automated scanning with a professional accessibility audit.
Your account
You need an account to run scans and view results. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person. Do not share account access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that show patterns of abuse. We will attempt to notify you first, but reserve the right to act immediately if necessary to protect the service or other users.
Free scan
Every account includes one free scan of up to 30 pages. No payment information is required. After your free scan is used, you can view your existing results or purchase scan credits for additional scans.
Scan credits and billing
Additional scans cost $15 each, purchased individually through Stripe. Each credit entitles you to one scan of up to 100 pages. Credits do not expire. Prices are in US dollars.
If a paid scan fails due to a technical error on our end (such as a server timeout or bot protection blocking the scan), your credit is automatically restored to your account.
Refunds
Scan credits are non-refundable once used. If you purchased a credit but have not yet used it, contact support@checksiteada.com and we will review your request. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will resolve it.
Price changes
We may change scan credit prices. Price changes apply only to future purchases. Credits you have already purchased are not affected.
Acceptable use
You may scan websites you own, manage, or have authorization to test. Do not use CheckSiteADA to scan sites you have no relationship with at a volume intended to overload their servers. Our scanner respects robots.txt and identifies itself with a descriptive User-Agent string.
Do not attempt to:
Reverse-engineer the scanning engine or AI analysis. Circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions. Use the service to generate misleading compliance certifications. Resell scan results as your own product.
Scan results and fix suggestions
Scan results reflect what our automated tools and AI analysis detected at the time of the scan. Results may differ between scans of the same site due to dynamic content, network conditions, or updates to our scanning logic.
Fix suggestions are generated by AI. They have not been reviewed by a human accessibility expert. Verify every suggestion before applying it to a production site. We are not responsible for issues caused by applying unverified fix suggestions.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep CheckSiteADA available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via the email address on your account. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
Data and privacy
See our Privacy Policy for details on what data we collect, how it is used, and how to request deletion.
Limitation of liability
CheckSiteADA is provided as-is. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of scan results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including (but not limited to) reliance on scan results, application of fix suggestions, or failure to identify accessibility issues.
